Baton Roots Art Farm Design at Howell Park
Baton Roots is an urban farm that supplies healthy food in areas with a lack of access. The farm is located at BREC park and plans to become a collaboration between farm and art. This is a 12-acre expansion design that provides interaction between community well-being, sustainable agriculture, and art displays. The site also has drainage issues that the design solves, and was approved for 100-year flood analysis by LSU civil engineering students. The master plan was a group collaboration, where I was in charge of rendering and the plaza design.
